The Vermont Symphony Orchestra will hold auditions for Second Horn on September 28th, 2023.
Application and deposit deadline: August 25, 2023
The VSO is a unionized, part-time, fully professional, per service orchestra.
Travel, per diem, and housing provided per CBA.
2023/2024 section rates: $156.74/performance – $48.23/rehearsal hour
All applicants should be prepared to demonstrate either U.S. citizenship or legal eligibility to accept employment, and, upon acceptance of employment, must belong to the American Federation of Musicians.
All applicants must be prepared to show proof of being “up-to-date” on COVID 19 vaccinations as defined by the CDC.
