We are thrilled to present the Vermont Symphony Orchestra’s 90th season! This year, we’ll be sharing our stages with world-class soloists such as Sir Stephen Hough, Béla Fleck, and Bella Hristova, and highlighting the orchestra’s own incredible musicians as soloists in the upcoming Summer Festival Tour. As we travel from Derby Line up north to Bennington in the south, you’ll hear symphonies by Mahler and Still, ballets by Stravinsky and Prokofiev, premieres of compositions by Sir Stephen Hough and Vermont music students, Ugandan traditional music by Damascus Kafumbe, and more. From pops, film music, and jazz to a return of the VSO Chorus over the holidays, the season promises beautiful and thought-provoking pieces from a diverse selection of composers. This fall, we’ll announce more concerts to add to our Rutland and Burlington seasons for the spring of 2025, and we look forward to robust year of adult and youth education programs around the state.
