Summer Festival Tour: Symphony of Stars – East Burke

July 6 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

WEATHER UPDATE: For the safety of our crew, musicians, staff and audience, tonight’s concert (July 6) will be moved indoors at Lyndon Town School Gymnasium, 2591 Lily Pond Rd, Lyndonville. A limited number of tickets will be available at the gate at 5:30; concert starts at 7:30. We hope to see you there! Note: We recommend bringing your own chairs.

Celebrate the great outdoors and VSO’s 90th birthday with the 2024 Summer Festival Tour: Symphony of Stars! Join the orchestra for spectacular evenings of music by Sufjan Stevens, Margaret Bonds, Vermont’s own Erik Nielsen, John Philip Sousa marches, John Williams’ E.T. score and more – plus spectacular solos from VSO’s musicians! Music Director Andrew Crust leads the ensemble featuring Principal Cello John Dunlop, Principal Clarinet Kelli O’Connor, and Principal Percussion D. Thomas Toner. Bring your picnic and relax under balmy summer skies with your Vermont Symphony Orchestra!

Concert begins at 7:30 pm with fireworks after the show (only if outdoors)

We encourage you to bring:
– A picnic blanket or folding chairs
– Sunscreen & sunglasses
– Insect repellant
– Water
– Whatever you need to comfortably enjoy the outdoors

Please note: Outside alcohol is not permitted at this event. There will be beverages available for sale on site.

Sun umbrellas are welcome until the start of the concert. Flashlights are also suggested to help you find your way to your car after the sun has set. Smoking and animals (except assistance and service animals) are not allowed at any VSO show.
