When did you start playing with the VSO? 1973

Hobbies: bird watching, golf, hiking, kayaking ,chess

How did you get started in music? We were all given a music aptitude test in sixth grade; when I scored very well, they suggested the violin.

Describe a typical day: Sleep as late as I want, leisurely breakfast, house/yard work or work on upcoming music till lunch, teach violin/viola in the afternoon, perhaps a gig at night (I play in a number of local bands).

Dream job if not musician: astronomer

Favorite vice I’ll admit to: hours spent watching golf

People would be surprised to know that: I seem to remember sports trivia.

Best advice I ever got: Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Favorite way to spend an evening: playing games with friends

Pet peeve: drivers who take forever to make a turn

I’m most proud of: making a living playing music in Vermont
