VSO Children’s Holiday Wish Letter Writing Contest

Is your little one penning a letter to Santa?

If so, we invite them to participate in our letter writing contest to hear what young kids in Vermont wish for the holiday season.

Select letters will be read aloud at the VSO’s family-friendly Holiday Pops concerts on December 10, 11, and 12 in Barre, Burlington, and Rutland. Selected children will be provided with two FREE tickets to the concert and will be mailed a special gift from the Vermont Symphony Orchestra.

Students who enter will have a chance to have their holiday wish letter read from the stage by our orchestra conductor Peter Askim, our special guests NBC5 Chief Meteorologist Tom Messner and Lieutenant Governor Molly Gray, or even Mrs. Claus herself! The concert will be recorded, including reading of the holiday wish letters, and streamed online starting December 25.

Students should send their wish letter, along with their name, age and school, via post to: VSO Holiday Wishes, 2 Church St, Suite 3B, Burlington VT 05401 or email it to hello@vso.org no later than Friday December 3.

A limited number of free tickets are available for ages 12 and under with paying adults. Winners of the holiday letter writing campaign will be announced on Monday, December 6. For questions, please contact patricia@vso.org.

Note: The December 11 concert at the Flynn will be recorded, including reading of area children’s holiday wish letters, and streamed online starting December 25.
