Description: Many Vermonters are familiar with Justin Morgan’s famous work with horses, but it’s less well known that Justin Morgan was also a composer of music.  Join us in person and listen to samples of Morgan’s original hymns, discuss the music scene in Vermont in the 18th century, and explore how Nico Muhly has integrated these tunes into a brand-new orchestral commission for the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. Held in Shelburne.
