The VSO returns to Vermont’s center of innovation with Flight Test, an unforgettable concert of vocal and instrumental music in BETA’s original hangar. This concert features the VSO’s 40-voice chorus, pianist Mary Jane Austin, violinist Brooke Quiggins, and cellist John Dunlop in an immersive soundscape curated and led by Matt LaRocca, VSO’s Artistic Advisor and Project Conductor. Lose yourself in a world of music both ancient and modern, surrounded by the cathedral-like acoustics of the hangar with stunning projections to complete the experience. Flight Test’s video projections are created by Champlain College Emergent Media Center students and teachers, wrapping up a three year educational partnership between the VSO and the college.
The concert is one hour with no intermission; parking is available at the Patrick Leahy Burlington Airport general parking garage.
