Three days before the Vermont Symphony Orchestra takes the stage at the Flynn, join VSO Music Director Andrew Crust and composer James Stewart at the Venetian Soda Lounge for a lively happy hour exploring the music on our October 31 program, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Andrew and James will discuss the composition process behind film scores from NOPE and The Nightmare Before Christmas, and explore how late-1800s compositions Symphonie fantastique and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice became enduring favorites.
