David M. Wilson Memorial Farmers’ Night Concert

February 14 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Ticketing/registration is not required for this open-to-the-public performance.

The VSO is one of many Vermont arts organizations that celebrates our state by providing a free concert for the Vermont General Assembly’s annual Farmers Night series. The series is a longstanding State House tradition dating back over 100 years to a time when lawmakers entertained themselves in the House Chamber mid-week while away from home.

VSO’s offering for this free 2024 Valentine’s Day concert features a string chamber orchestra and the VSO Chorus for an evening of enchanting music by Bach, Haydn, and more. As an annual tradition, we’ll also feature the premiere of a new work composed by a Music-COMP student: Callum Robechek. This concert is conducted by José-Daniel Flores Caraballo.
