SUMMARY:Brass Quintet and Counterpoint Chorus - Newport
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets \nVSO’s annual tour of festive brass and vocal music with Counterpoint Chorus returns to Newport for the holiday season. The concert includes carols such as Hark the Harald Angels Sing\, The Twelve Days of Christmas\, and O Holy Night; an international flavor with Greek\, Catalan\, and Mexican music; and a world premiere by Music-COMP student and Stowe High School senior\, Harrison Brown.  Conducted by Nathaniel G. Lew. \nTickets: free for ages 18 and under; $20 for ages 65 and up; and $24 for everyone in between (+ fees). \n  \nVSO Brass Quintet \nShelagh Abate\, horn \nMark Emery\, trumpet \nRyan Noe\, trumpet \nMatthew Wright\, trombone \nZachary Grass\, tuba \n  \nDoors open at 6:30pm\, concert begins at 7:00pm. \nThis concert is generously supported by the Vermont Community Foundation Green Mountain Fund\, North Country Federal Credit Union\, and our generous individual ticket sponsors in the NEK. \n                        \n  \n
