SUMMARY:David M. Wilson Memorial Farmers' Night Concert
DESCRIPTION:Ticketing/registration is not required for this open-to-the-public performance. \n\n\nThe VSO is one of many Vermont arts organizations that celebrates our state by providing a free concert for the Vermont General Assembly’s annual Farmers Night series. The series is a longstanding State House tradition dating back over 100 years to a time when lawmakers entertained themselves in the House Chamber mid-week while away from home. \nVSO’s offering for this free 2024 Valentine’s Day concert features a string chamber orchestra and the VSO Chorus for an evening of enchanting music by Bach\, Haydn\, and more. As an annual tradition\, we’ll also feature the premiere of a new work composed by a Music-COMP student: Callum Robechek. This concert is conducted by José-Daniel Flores Caraballo. \nProgram \nW. A.
