DESCRIPTION:On March 7th\, the Vermont Symphony Orchestra’s “Skylark” quartet brings a vibrant and evocative program to Windsor’s Old South Church for a free and unforgettable community concert at 2pm. \nWith decades of experience in the professional music community\, VSO colleagues Jane Kittredge (violin)\, John Dunlop (cello)\, Ana Ruesink (viola) and Ben Lively (violin/guitar) bring a rare blend of technical mastery\, contemporary folk innovation and classical sensibility crafting performances that are full of energy\, beauty and irresistible flair. \nInfluenced by the Nordic\, Celtic and American regions\, this eclectic program includes compositions by Bach\, Väsen\, Fretless\, and Evan Premo alongside original arrangements by Ben Lively and the Danish String Quartet. \nPresented by Old South Church and the Windsor Improvement Corporation.
