Vermont Symphony Orchestra

VSO Jukebox at Merchants Hall

This innovative chamber music series, curated by Vermont composer and VSO Artistic Advisor and Project Conductor Matt LaRocca, features a sliding-scale payment option and a singular concert experience.

Our March Jukebox program celebrates International Women’s Day with a lineup of all female composers. The evening will be co-curated by Matthew Evan Taylor, professor of music at Middlebury College and our 2019 Made in Vermont world premiere composer. The two Matts have chosen pieces for the Jukebox quartet by historical composers such as Fanny Mendelssohn and Florence Price, as well as composers of today, including Mary Ellen Childs and Jessie Montgomery. We look forward to championing music by women with our Jukebox audiences!

Sponsored by the Ann M. Bragg Charitable Trust, in memory of Ann Miller Bragg, and Sap! Beverages.

This event is BYOB.
