Vermont Symphony Orchestra

RESCHEDULED: Close to Home and Far Afield – Island Pond

This concert has been rescheduled to September 5 due to weather concerns. Hope to see you then!

Times like these call for outdoor concerts, with small ensembles and ample room to stop by and enjoy some music from a safe distance. Our Close to Home and Far Afield series honors our statewide mission by visiting all 14 of Vermont’s counties this summer, bringing a variety of repertoire to town greens, patios, and other outdoor venues.

For this edition of Close to Home and Far Afield, we’ll be performing at the Lakeside Park Pavilion in partnership with the Brighton Community Forum.

1:00 pm: Guest artist Bill Tobin, harp

2:00 pm: VSO string trio

Free and open to the public. Rain date is September 5. For venue accessibility information, please contact Michael Strait, Chair of the Brighton Selectboard and Director/Treasurer of the Brighton Community Forum at (802) 323-6040.

Please remember to maintain social distancing. Face masks are required.
