Vermont Symphony Orchestra seeks a Development & Administration Intern to join our dynamic team. This opportunity is for a student seeking a career in nonprofit fundraising/management, development, music/arts administration, or business administration. The position will help us better connect with donors, volunteers, committees, and the community.
The intern will assist in data management and entry, digital and print communications, and administrative tasks. The intern will learn cross-team communications, project management skills, and database management. They will also build a higher proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite skills and the ability to construct content and enhance communications.
The duration of the internship is flexible and subject to departmental needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
– General proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
– Strong written and oral communications skills
– Professional presence and demeanor
– Enrolled in a college degree program
– Must be able to report to our Church Street office on a regular, agreed-upon schedule
