Sponsorship and Underwriting Opportunities
Sponsorship

Sponsoring a concert is an excellent way to play a major part in bringing the Vermont Symphony Orchestra to your community. Businesses all over Vermont have found concert sponsorship rewarding not only for the positive marketing benefits it provides but also as a statement that your company cares about your community. For more information about concert sponsorship, contact Alan Jordan at the VSO.

Underwriting

Many individuals feel strongly about a particular program or concert venue, so much so that they elect to designate their annual support for one or more concerts. Underwriting opportunities are varied. For more information, please contact Alan Jordan at the VSO.

Sponsorship Levels
Your company's sponsorship of a VSO performance is not just another charitable contribution. The VSO offers comprehensive, cost-effective marketing and community relations benefits to corporate sponsors. You become a partner in our 68-year tradition of bringing great music to Vermont residents of all ages. The VSO performs in communities throughout the state year-round. Choose from gala holiday concerts for the whole family or from one of many musical masterpiece productions.

Sponsorship Levels

    Underwriter Benefits
Underwriters provide all or part of the cost of a concert or the performance of a specific piece of music. Underwriters, as individuals, are afforded all the benefits of corporate sponsors for their level of giving. However, we will inform all Underwriters of the value of the benefits received to protect the individual from federal and state tax complications and possible dilution of deductibility for their gift if the value of the benefits exceeds the upper limit of $72. Benefits will include tickets to the performance, preferred seating, recognition as desired, both in print and from the stage, and the opportunity to meet with the guest artist(s) and orchestra after the performance, whether backstage or at a reception arranged for this purpose. We welcome additional requests, and honor these as we are able. Underwriters often choose to host the musicians at a dinner after the performance, for instance. For more information on Underwriting opportunities, please contact
    Alan Jordan.
